Toyota raises $1.8 million for grassroots cricket

A record number of grassroots cricket clubs around Australia have scored a massive fundraising total in the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle 2016/17.

Almost 400 clubs across every state and territory raised $628,690 - that's a whopping 42% increase on last year's total!

It's further proof that the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle is fundraising made easy. Toyota supply some fantastic prizes and cover all the costs of running the raffle, so local clubs keep 100% of the money raised from selling tickets.

Now in it's sixth year, the Toyota Good for Cricket program has raised more than $1.8 million for grassroots cricket. This has helped cash-strapped clubs upgrade their cricket kits, build clubrooms, install new nets, buy uniforms, invest in coaching and much, much more.

A massive thanks to everyone who made this season such a great success; to club administrators, players and volunteers, to those who bought and sold tickets, and to our local Toyota Dealers, for helping out in the community this season.

And of course, congratulations to the lucky raffle winners, who bought a ticket to help their local club and snagged an awesome prize in the process. Now that's Good for Cricket!
